THE Fort Knox US Army base in Kentucky has been locked down after reports of a shooting.
A Fort Knox spokesman Kyle Hodges says the Wednesday's shooting was near the base's human resources centre.
Fort Knox, near Louisville, is home to more than 40,000 US military personnel, family members and civilian employees.
