THEY ran riot in the street, stormed a council bus, kicked out its windows and pelted police officers with bricks - leaving two in hospital and one needing plastic surgery.
But according to Jordan Fuller, the Acacia Ridge boy whose birthday celebrations turned into a brawling rabble, this is just "what kids do".
"I just had a bit of a party and it got shut down a bit too early and people weren't too happy and went and had fun - and do what kids do," he said of the violence that left two constables with stitches in their face and one with a fractured eye socket.

Late last night, a 15-year-old boy was one of two people charged in relation to the out-of-control party.
The teenager from Bowen Hills was charged with wilful damage, affray and obstructing police.
A 24-year-old Runcorn man has been charged with going armed so as to cause fear and threatening violence, and will appear in the Richlands Magistrates Court on April 8.
The teenager will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act. Police investigations are continuing.

Jordan Fuller, 17, advertised his Saturday night party on Facebook - asking for a $5 entry fee to cover costs.
Police initially tried to contact the host after noticing more than 250 people - some as young as 11 - had indicated they planned to attend.
Detective Inspector Geoff Acreman said police were unable to determine where the party would be held. But neighbours from Marnham Street at Acacia Ridge soon called to report loud noises and fighting in the street.
By 11pm, officers attending for the third time asked Jordan's mother to shut the party down.
Det Insp Acreman said the guests - more than 200 teens - left the house but a large group gathered at a bus stop in nearby Bellamy St.
When the bus arrived, some got on and began kicking out the windows as others damaged the exterior.
Police soon arrived, with two officers jumping on board to arrest a 15-year-old boy who was smashing windows.

Teens surrounding the bus broke up a wall from a neighbouring property and began throwing Besser Blocks at the vehicle. Det Insp Acreman said when another two officers arrived to help, the party-goers hurled Besser Blocks at them.
"These are people who stood behind the crowd and were throwing rocks over people to hit these officers in the head ... it wasn't accidental by any stretch," he said.
"It could have killed them."
The two police officers on the bus managed to drag their colleagues - who had been knocked to the ground - on board where they shouted for the driver to close the doors and drive away.
Another 18 patrol cars were called in to control the crowd.
When the manager of the Willawong bus depot surveyed the bus yesterday, a brick could still be seen on the floor of the blood-spattered aisle.

"They are two very, very brave fellas," Det Insp Acreman said of the officers involved. "We are very keen to talk to the people involved in this."
Det Insp Acreman said the party's host, who co-operated with their instructions, was not to blame for the violence.
Birthday boy Jordan said despite the violent end, it had been a good night.
"Yeah, I had fun," he said. "People turned up and did everything that was right and when the coppers turned up and said it was over, they weren't too happy because everyone was having a good time. Everyone just got upset with the coppers as you can see."
The wild party has shocked neighbours, who said they watched the incident unfold from behind curtains.
"Last night I only slept about two hours," Dilshad Ako, 57, said.
"They smashed and broke our fence and smashed the windscreen of another car."
Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said he would be pursuing the party hosts for the "full clean-up cost" if they were found to be responsible for causing the destruction.
"I think it's an absolute disgrace that these thugs think they can get away with trashing our streets and expecting hard-working ratepayers to pick up the bill and enough's enough," Councillor Quirk said.
